Can Soccer Make An Impact in America
You here it every time the world cup comes around, "Soccer is growing in America" but is it really? Can soccer be up in the same league with Football and Baseball in the eyes of America. The short answer, no.

That's because soccer will have to cram itself into an already filled sports menu. Basketball can be compared to soccer except with more scoring and hockey is like soccer except on ice. So soccer has huge competition to attract a large American audience. Maybe some kind of an American World Cup victory might spark some interest in the sport, but till then, soccer is going to take a backseat in the United States.
